The life of Ian Dury coming to the big screen…
The cast of the Ian Dury biopic, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, is growing. Ray Winstone, Naomie Harris, Olivia Williams and Mackenzie Crook have all joined the cast, which already had Andy Serkis (King Kong) already set to play the punk legend.
The film will focus on the musical career of Dury, his influence as one of the pioneers of the New Wave movement, and his battles with polio and cancer, which led to his death in March of 2000.
Principal photography for the film begins on May 3rd in London.
